Atrivent

If you suffer from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) or a runny nose, your healthcare provider may prescribe Atrovent® (ipratropium bromide). Atrovent is part of a class of drugs known as anticholinergics, and works by decreasing the amount of fluid produced in the nasal passages and opening up the airways to the lungs. The medicine comes in the form of an inhaler, an inhalation solution, or a nasal spray. As with any medication, it is possible to take too much Atrovent. Seek immediate medical attention if you overdose on Atrovent. Symptoms of an Atrovent overdose can include stomach pain, blurred vision, and headaches.
