Daliresp Medication Information

DalirespTM (roflumilast) is available only by prescription and is approved for treating chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). This drug is different from most other COPD medications, as it comes in the form of a tablet rather than an inhaler.

This medicine is not appropriate for everyone; your healthcare provider needs complete information on your medical history and what medications you are taking before prescribing Daliresp. Although many people do not have any problems while taking this drug, side effects can occur and may include nausea, diarrhea, and weight loss. If negative reactions do occur, they tend to be mild and easily treated.

There is only one standard dosage -- one 500-mcg tablet taken once a day. Because Daliresp is not a bronchodilator, make sure to carry a rescue inhaler with you in case of an emergency.
