More Details on Fluticasone and Salmeterol

Storage Methods

Fluticasone and salmeterol should be stored at room temperature, away from moisture and heat. Once an Advair Diskus is removed from its packaging, it must be discarded after one month, even if it is not empty. The Advair HFA inhaler can be used until it has expired or until all 120 doses are used.

Keep fluticasone and salmeterol, as well as all other medications, out of the reach of children.

What Should I Do If I Miss a Dose?

If you do not take your fluticasone and salmeterol as scheduled, take your missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose and continue with your regular schedule. Do not take a double dose of fluticasone and salmeterol.
