Drug Interactions With Fluticasone Inhalers

Among the drugs that can potentially interact with fluticasone inhalers are certain antibiotics or antifungals (such as erythromycin and clarithromycin) and protease inhibitors (such as amprenavir or atazanavir). Drug interactions with fluticasone inhalers can increase your risk of side effects by raising the level of fluticasone in your blood.   • Certain antibiotics or antifungals, including:

    • Isoniazid (Nydrazid®)
    • Itraconazole (Sporanox®)
    • Ketoconazole (Nizoral®)
    • Miconazole
    • Telithromycin (Ketek®)
