COPD Home > DuoNeb Inhalation Solution

If you have chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), such as emphysema or chronic bronchitis, you may benefit from an inhaled drug called DuoNeb® (ipratropium and albuterol solution). DuoNeb contains two different medications that work together to keep the airways open. It is actually a liquid form of Atrovent® that is used in a nebulizer.
DuoNeb is typically used four times a day. If necessary, your healthcare provider may recommend using it more frequently. To use this medication, you will need to purchase or rent a nebulizer.
(Click DuoNeb for a complete description of this drug, including more details on its effects in the body, what to expect during treatment, and important safety issues to be aware of before using it.)
