COPD Home > Other Information on Foradil

Dosing Information

The dose of Foradil your healthcare provider recommends will vary, depending on whether you take the medication on a regular basis or if you only take it when needed to prevent exercise-induced asthma.

As is always the case, do not adjust your dose unless your healthcare provider specifically instructs you to do so.

(Click Foradil Dosage for more information.)

Side Effects of Foradil

As with any medicine, side effects are possible with Foradil. However, not everyone who takes it will experience side effects. In fact, most people tolerate the medication quite well. If side effects do occur, in most cases, they are minor and either require no treatment or can easily be treated by you or your healthcare provider. Serious side effects are less common.

Common side effects of Foradil include but are not limited to:

  • Bronchitis or other infections
  • Difficulty breathing
  • Chest pain
  • Shakiness (tremors)
  • Insomnia.

(Click Foradil Side Effects to learn more, including potentially serious side effects you should report immediately to your healthcare provider.)

Drug Interactions

Foradil can potentially interact with several other medicines (see Foradil Drug Interactions).
