If you develop vision changes, chest pain, or other potentially serious problems while using Tudorza, let your healthcare provider know right away. Fortunately, most people tend to tolerate this medicine well, and reactions are usually minor and easy to treat. Some of the most commonly reported side effects of Tudorza include diarrhea, headaches, and coughing.
An Introduction to Tudorza Side EffectsJust like any medicine, Tudorza™ Pressair™ (aclidinium bromide) can cause side effects. However, not everyone who uses this product will have problems. In fact, most people tolerate it quite well. If side effects do occur, in most cases, they are minor and either require no treatment or are treated easily by you or your healthcare provider.
(This article covers many, but not all, of the possible side effects with Tudorza. Your healthcare provider can discuss a more complete list with you.)
Common Side Effects of TudorzaTudorza has been studied extensively in clinical trials. In these studies, the side effects that occurred in a group of people using the drug were documented and compared to those that occurred in another group who used a placebo (a similar product that does not contain any active ingredients). As a result, it was possible to see what side effects occurred, how often they appeared, and how they compared to the group given the placebo.
In these studies, the most common side effects of Tudorza included:
- Headache -- in up to 6.6 percent of people
- Common cold symptoms -- up to 5.5 percent
- Cough -- up to 3 percent
- Diarrhea -- up to 2.7 percent.
Other common reactions, occurring in 1 percent to 1.7 percent of people, included:
- Sinus infection
- Stuffy, runny, or itchy nose (rhinitis)
