There are a number of important Serevent warnings and precautions to be aware of before starting the drug, including possible side effects that may occur in some people during treatment (such as a worsening of diabetes). Also, Serevent can potentially interact with certain other medicines, so it is important to let your healthcare provider know (prior to taking Serevent) about all other drugs you may be taking. Among the people who should not take Serevent are those who are allergic to any components used in making the drug.
Any allergies, including allergies to food (especially milk), dyes, or preservatives.
Also let your healthcare provider know if you are:
Pregnant or thinking of becoming pregnant
Breastfeeding.
You should also make sure to tell your healthcare provider about all other medicines you may be taking, including prescription and non-prescription medicines, vitamins, and herbal supplements.
